At Accessibility Answers, we are passionate about helping people with disabilities to have affordable and accessible resources to live in their communities. We offer Support Planner services to individuals and Project Management services to organizations. We can help you comply with ADA regulations and make Section 508 suggestions and referrals. Our motto is Access for All.
Deb Newman is the web master at Ramsey County Human Services where you will find resources for people with disabilities. She was a Project Manager at The University of Minnesota. At the University, she developed marketing plans and “train the trainer” materials. She also edited specialists’ scientific and technical research, to produce hundreds of daily-living fact sheets and sound bites. These practical resources were accessed by millions of people. By engaging students and community members, it was also available in Hmong, Somali and Spanish. In addition, Deb has authored articles to encourage best practices in communications for specific audiences.
Personally, Deb is the parent of a person with intellectual and physical disabilities. She has years of successful experience helping her daughter and others navigate social services, education and health systems. (See A Rainbow in My Head) She continues to help others as a certified Support Planner. In her spare time, Deb writes “hi low” detective novels for teens and adults with intellectual disabilities.
